How should the next generations act upon Climate Change?

As a part of the Gen-Z, I know how much Climate Change can affect our future. It is for sure going to be a struggle for us young people. Besides that, it is a good thing that we are acquainted with real-world problems like Climate Change and Global Warming, as well as great people who plead for these issues.

A few of the most salutary, prominent people who advocate Climate Change are Greta Thunberg, Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, and so many more that don’t get enough recognition. I couldn’t thank these activists and politicians who actually care about future generations. Without them, we would be struggling in advance by now.

Now to the main point of this short article, the big question is “How should the younger generations deal with this detrimental dillema?” Younger Generations should take action on it right. now. A single share or post of posts on social media that spread awareness on this issue makes a big impact as you make it known to people that are not well aware of this issue. You may think that posting it on your story does nothing because we all know that people simply go past the story, but no. There are people who genuinely care about the future of this planet and we should help them in order for our future to be better.

Finally, by doing the basic things such as Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, Segregation, and trying to stop using one-time-use plastic bags, you are already doing your part without even knowing it. It may seem like the things that you do to save the environment do absolutely nothing because the people around you don’t do any good, but little did you know, you’re helping A LOT.

I am currently reading this book called “The Future We Choose: Surviving the Climate Crisis” by Christiana Figueres and Tom Rivett-Carnac. If you wish to be enlightened much more, I would definitely recommend that book. You will learn a lot from how it started to how you should act upon it.

If you think my article is a bit all over the place, I apologize for that I’m a 16-year-old who just started doing these types of things. I’m majoring in a major where I can be one of the people who advocate Climate Change in the future. I’m open to corrections or criticism! Please email me if you feel the need to, it would mean a lot.

DO YOUR PART. :)
